Professor Javier Montero participated in the Blended Intensive Programme “Diversity and Sustainability in Global Business” at Kristiania University (Oslo, Norway) during the week of March 18th to 22nd. Students from Griffith College (Dublin, Ireland), Odisee University (Brussels, Belgium), the University of Zaragoza, and Kristiania University itself participated in this program.

This activity is part of short-term mobility promoted by the European Union, in which students travel for a week to another European university to delve into a specific theme. This mobility is also accompanied by some online training sessions before the trip.

This program addressed the topics of diversity and sustainability in international business environments. Throughout the week, various theoretical classes were held on these subjects (Professor Javier Montero taught those most related to business strategy), with the presence of different agents from the Norwegian productive sector (an Ikea executive, several entrepreneurs, the person in charge of diversity issues in the Norwegian police, etc.). Additionally, various visits to companies and institutions were conducted (Equinor, an energy company; Vinmonopolet, an alcoholic beverage company; Snohetta, an architecture firm).
